ABOUT THE PRESENTATION
You might have heard of CRON or WP CRON, but did you know there is another option for on-server scheduled actions?
The Action Scheduler is a job queue library for processing large queues of tasks in WordPress.
In this presentation, Daniel explained what the Action Scheduler is, where it fits in WordPress, and how it can benefit you!
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Daniel has over 20 years of experience as a professional developer. Most recently he has helped eCommerce brands sell more with WooCommerce. He is a WooCommerce Subscriptions expert and enjoys digging into the internals of plugins to solve problems.
He currently leads a team that supports and builds large WooCommerce Subscriptions sites. He also builds commercial WooCommerce extensions that he sells in his own shop.
In his off time, he enjoys road-tripping around his home state of Texas and watching a lot of NFL and college football.
